Grand Street Cafe

Sophisticated. Stylish. Unique. The Grand St. Cafe has been one of the places to be in the Kansas City dining scene since opening in 1991. An imaginative interior surrounds and surprises patrons with vines and willow branches that grow out of the contemporary botanical print wallpaper and reach up toward the leafy patterned ceiling. Jagged-edged glass panels allow a peek of the busy kitchen area and large windows around the exterior of the restaurant let in light and the Plaza view. Spring and summer diners enjoy the umbrella tables on the adjacent patio where flowers and herbs share the garden. Tucked away just east of the Country Club Plaza on the ground floor of a low-rise office building, the Grand St. Cafe is the flagship restaurant of the PB and J Restaurant Group. Executive Chef Marc Valiani provides an innovative menu of regional, all-American favorites creatively presented and professionally served by the Grand St. wait staff.
